This course is suitable for the beginner and the more advanced student. Anthony is an experienced art teacher of twenty years in Australia and in London.

Explore techniques in the use of colour and mixing tone, perspective and composition. Produce different textures and mark making. Paint realistically or move to abstraction. Experimentation and personal expression in style and subject matter are encouraged, all within a positive and happy atmosphere.

MARION STROUD

 

Marion has a vast knowledge of watercolour and design, she is able to inspire artists of all levels in all mediums. Drawing is one of Marion's strong points and this class is an excellent way for beginners to learn the basics of drawing. As the course progresses drawing techniques will become more expressive and colour will be introduced.  

Subjects include still life, flowers and landscapes from photographs.

Nature is replete with beautiful birds, fascinating animals and plant life. During this series of classes we will explore ways to bring animals to life employing the medium(s) of choice. These could include coloured pencils, pen and wash, watercolour, pastels, acrylics or oil paints.
